SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER POSITION – FB302

General Qualifications

• At least 5 years of food-related Supply Chain Management experience in a fast-paced work environment
• A team player with a ‘does what needs to be done’ attitude
• Seasoned professional who strives for perfection and possesses honesty, integrity, and enthusiasm
• Experience in production planning, inventory control, and warehousing
• Professional, multi-tasking, self-sufficient, independent worker
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of  Microsoft Dynamics (formerly Great Plains) a plus
• International experience a plus.

Operations:
            Production Planning

• Prepare monthly warehouse inventory plan
• Prioritize core direct customers and warehouse products
• Communicate with Sales, Customer Service, Distribution, and Corporate Operations to resolve issues related to supply/demand planning
• Coordinate with corporate production planning on urgent orders.

Warehouse Management

• Conduct annual inventory inspection and physical count (3 warehouses)
• Maintain optimum inventory
• Assure stock rotation to minimize/avoid product over aging and make warehouse transshipments if needed
• Periodic review of warehouse rate structure and competitiveness
• Assure security procedures for inbound shipments
• Assist Finance in filing claims, if needed.

Transportation:
      Inbound Shipments

• Coordinate deliveries with Custom brokers
• Ensure compliance with US Customs and FDA requirements
• Resolve ocean carrier service issues with corporate logistics
• Assist corporate shipping department in evaluating ocean carrier rate structure.

Trucking/Outbound Shipments

• Evaluate effectiveness of domestic freight rates
• Assist in review of trucking rate for price list and other contracts.

Others:

• Assist Marketing/Sales on Direct and Foreign Shipments
• Assist in estimate of company volume and succeeding forecast revisions and production priorities
• Provide service to brokers/distributors and other core customers on status of direct orders
• Assist accounting on review of invoices of custom broker, freight lines, and warehouses
• Coordinate with manufacturing operations on customer issues related to quality, production, shipping, and other requirements
• Participate in video conference with Corporate Management
• Participate in coordinating quarterly findings with other departments
