Total damage of 2 typhoons that hit the Philippines late last year Typhoon Xangsane (local name: Milenyo) and Durian (local name: Reming), are estimated to reach as much as Php 1.626 billion. The heaviest damaged region was region 5, composed of Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur I, Camarines Sur II, Catanduanes, Masbate, and Sorsogon.
