Yield: 25 pieces
Ingredients:
2 large egg whites, at room temperature
¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
⅓ cup granulated sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups Franklin Baker Tender Fresh Flakes
Procedure:
- Preheat oven to 300F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a clean bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until frothy. Gradually add the sugar and beat until stiff. Add the vanilla extract. Gently fold in the Franklin Baker Tender Fresh® Flakes.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet. Shape into mounds, with a pointed tip. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until done. Remove from oven.
- Cool in pan and immediately store in an airtight container.
