Conducted every two years, being SMETA certified means successfully completing the audit, with focus on Labor Standards, Health and Safety, The Environment, and Business Ethics. This demonstrates Franklin Baker’s commitment to continuously seek growth and improve its operations, ensuring ethical and sustainable practices are implemented.
Sapphire Plant in San Pablo, Laguna is Franklin Baker’s oldest facility established in 1926. All three Franklin Baker facilities regularly undergo the Sedex audit as part of the company’s thrust to advance the company’s sustainability goals, recognizing its responsibility to its people, its partners and the environment.
