This full fat coconut product (65% minimum), is processed  from freshly-picked mature Philippine coconut, did not undergo fat reduction or extraction process and has a moisture content between 3.5% to 4.1%. Franklin Baker Company of the Philippines is one of the largest Philippine producers of desiccated, processed and value added coconut products. Our coconut business traces its roots in the United States and was established by Mr. Franklin Baker Sr. in 1895.  Our company pioneered the manufacture of desiccated coconut in the Philippines when the first desiccated coconut plant in the Philippines was established in Sta. Mesa, Manila in 1922 and production facilities were later transferred to San Pablo, Laguna in 1927 (later rebuilt in 1947 after World War II). The second desiccated coconut plant was put up in Davao del Sur (Island of Mindanao) in 1968.

We currently employ over 200 persons across 2 manufacturing sites located in San Pablo City, Laguna and Davao.

Our commitment goes beyond manufacturing high quality and safe coconut products that meets market and customer requirements. We aim to provide our global customers with value-added, cost-effective and reliable supply of coconut ingredients through constant collaboration and keen understanding of their needs.

Franklin Baker’s coconut ingredients are used daily in a wide range of food applications – from bakery, confections, dairy, savory, cereals, coating, beverages, etc.,
